New: the Free plan. Check FirstLight's timing against your own feed

Verify it for free, then take the lead.

Free shows you our timing. Pro is the feed. Ultra adds raw transactions and submission.

The three plans

Free

The headers stream, to check our timing on your own machine.

$0

  • /headers: a Lead record when each block starts and a Footer when it completes
  • Timing you can check: the Lead at about the time of the block's first raw transaction, the Footer within about 0.1 ms of the complete block
Get a free key

Pro

The feed: complete blocks as a standard Arbitrum Nitro feed.

$3,000 a month

  • One flag in your node
  • The sequencer's own bytes: signatures verify unchanged

Ultra

Raw transactions as their bytes complete, and submission from the sequencer's zone.

Starting at $10,000 a month, by volume

  • Everything in Pro
  • /tx: every signed transaction, one record each, as soon as its bytes complete, usually before its block completes
  • FirstLight Submit: send signed transactions with one URL change
  • Colocation in Ohio
  • Plain ws:// and http:// endpoints, no TLS

How to start

From a key to your own measurement, in three steps.

  1. Ask for a free key

Message @idatsy on Telegram and ask for the Free plan. One key per plan.

  2. Open the headers stream

Connect to the headers stream with your free key, from any WebSocket client.

    wss://headers.first-light.stream/{KEY}
  3. Match the blocks

Match each Header record with the same block on your current feed by block hash, and compare the arrival times on one clock.

Questions about the plans

How fast is the headers stream?
A block's Lead record arrives at about the time of the block's first raw transaction, and its Footer within about 0.1 ms of the complete block. No delay is added per key, so the timing you measure is the stream's own.
How many keys come with a plan?
One key per plan, asked for on Telegram.
Can I colocate?
On Ultra: your instance runs in our placement group in AWS Ohio and reads the feed over private peering. See Colocation.
Can I send transactions through FirstLight?
Yes, on Ultra: FirstLight Submit takes eth_sendRawTransaction at https://submit.first-light.stream/{KEY}. See Submit.
How do I move to Pro or Ultra?
Ask on Telegram. The operator answers there.
